The Autism Society San Diego (ASSD) is seeking a dedicated & experienced Operations Manager who embraces and embodies our mission. The ideal candidate has experience overseeing the day to day administrative and operational functions of a non-profit, community service & advocacy organization with deep roots & understanding of the IDD, disabled or autistic community.
The Operations Manager’s responsibilities include managing ASSD staff of approximately four full time & part time people in addition to seasonal volunteers & (ASD) interns. The Operations Manager’s main role is to support the Executive Director in implementing the overall strategic plan of the organization, supporting the Board as needed and providing leadership for ASSD’s fiscal/program management and overseeing our community, education & housing services programs.
A key opportunity for the qualified candidate is to assist the Executive Director in implementing the new Board adopted 5-year strategic plan to advance, enhance & expand our seven strategic pillars: Community, Education, Housing, Business, Innovation, Advocacy & Justice with measurable KPI’s that lead to successful new memberships, donor & sponsor engagement outcomes and new grant funding opportunities.
