James Perez

My name is James Perez, and I am a Program Manager for an Adult In Home unit at the San Diego Regional Center. I have been working with the San Diego Regional Center for almost 6 years, with adults in home and with a specialized unit called Enhanced Service Coordination unit. In the Enhanced Service Coordination unit, I worked with monolingual Spanish speaking clients who were not receiving any services through the regional center due to many barriers; therefore the purpose of this unit was to work through these barriers in order to increase access and equity for regional center services and generic resources. I have a great passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities and their families, in order to ensure that they are able to access any resources and services that are available to them.
